Accreditation
We are proud of our accreditation to internationally recognised quality frameworks of Health Quality Service (HQS) and ISO 9001:2000. HQS is a quality management process enabling healthcare organisations to examine themselves critically against a nationally recognised framework of organisational standards. The HQS programme links to other national and international quality programmes and regulations including ISO9001:2000 and more recently, the National Minimum Care Standards.
Achieving the HQS standards with ISO9001:2000 demonstrates that we have an on-going hospital wide system of quality improvement. The system recognises good practice and sets an agenda for service development, promoting development through enhanced communication and monitoring. We strongly encourage your input and value your opinion in working towards all regulatory and accreditation requirements and view use the Medical Speciality Groups, MAC and individual meetings to promote this work.
Individual services at the hospital have also achieved accreditation in recognition of the high levels of care they provide, namely our BUPA Accredited Breast Assessment Unit and colorectal work.
The Princess Grace Hospital achieved Hospitality Assured status in 2006, the prestigious, internationally recognised, industry-specific standard for delivering service and business excellence in the hospitality industry - for its hotel services.
