Services and Facilities - Sleep Study Diagnostics Centre
Based within our General and Liaison Psychiatry Unit is the Sleep Study Centre Diagnostics Centre. We have facilities for overnight PSG studies. Expert technicians and nurses analyse these studies providing information on Brain Activity, Respiratory Function, Muscle Function and a variety of other variables that are essential for the diagnosis of more complex sleep disorders. PSG is particularly useful for the diagnosis of OSA and Sleep Disordered Breathing, Narcolepsy, Parasomnias, Restless Legs Syndrome and Neurological Disorders such as Epilepsy. Our collaboration with The London Sleep Centre provides patients with access to the latest expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of sleep disorders.
Dr Ebrahim is the Medical Director of The London Sleep Centre and provides consultant input to the Psychiatric Floor and Sleep Study Diagnostics Centre at the Princess Grace Hospital. He has special interests in sleep disorders, mood and anxiety disorders and neurological aspects of psychiatric and sleep disorders.
